To access your SoFi Plus benefits, including rate discounts on loans, you must first receive an eligible direct deposit into your SoFi Checking or Savings account — setting up direct deposit alone doesn’t automatically unlock your benefits.

It can take 2–5 weeks for your first eligible direct deposit to arrive after setting it up through your employer. Once it hits your account, SoFi Plus activates automatically.

I want the SoFi Plus discount on a Personal Loan, Student Loan Refinance, or Parent Loan

You must become a SoFi Plus member within 30 days of your loan funding by either:

• Receiving an eligible direct deposit into your SoFi Checking or Savings account (a recurring ACH deposit from your employer, payroll provider, or a government benefits agency — peer-to-peer transfers like Venmo or PayPal don’t count), or

• Paying the SoFi Plus subscription fee within 30 days

If you don’t complete your SoFi Plus enrollment (either through direct deposit or subscription payment) within 30 days of funding, you won’t be eligible for the rate discount, and it can’t be applied retroactively.
