Earlier this week, five of Constantine Cannon’s whistleblower attorneys were honored for their exemplary work: Gordon Schnell, Alysia Solow, and Daniel Vitelli have been named to the 2024 New York Metro Super Lawyers list, while Marlene Koury and Taline Sahakian have been recognized in Lawdragon’s 2024 list of 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers.
The Super Lawyers list acknowledges the top 5% of outstanding lawyers through a selection process of peer nominations and professional achievements. Similarly, Lawdragon’s list is curated through submissions, independent research, and editorial vetting.
Marlene Koury, San Francisco-based partner, and co-founder of the whistleblower practice, is celebrated for her litigation of healthcare fraud cases, including a record-breaking $57 million settlement in a False Claims Act case. Taline Sahakian, partner in the New York office, is accomplished in False Claims Act litigation, high-stakes antitrust litigation and commercial arbitration.
Gordon Schnell, also a co-founder of Constantine Cannon’s whistleblower practice, is renowned for representing whistleblowers under the False Claims Act, the SEC and CFTC Whistleblower programs, and various other federal and state whistleblower laws. Schnell has secured numerous high-profile settlements and is regularly featured on whistleblower subjects in major publications. Alysia Solow, the firm’s General Counsel and whistleblower intake partner, manages initial whistleblower contacts, ensuring their cases receive attention and assessment. Daniel Vitelli, recognized for his work on a $108.75 million settlement against defense contractor KBR, focuses on antitrust and False Claims Act litigation.
“These recognitions reflect the dedication and expertise of our team in supporting whistleblowers,” said Constantine Cannon Managing Partner Richard Aborn in the press release. “Our partners exemplify our commitment to exposing wrongdoing and advocating for justice.”
